Massage Foundations
The Massage Foundations course is designed as the entry level to massage therapy. This course enables total beginners as well as people with some knowledge of massage to reach a clinical standard within 10 classes.
You will learn how to give a complete, effective, relaxation massage. A seated neck and shoulder massage is also included.
This course is the first step towards becoming a professional Massage Therapist.
Overview
Massage Foundations is a ‘hands-on’ course of 10 classes. Generally the first hour of class is spent learning theory components of massage and observing a practical demonstration. The remaining time is spent practising the particular techniques under supervision. This means giving and receiving a massage in every class!
Module Certificate
You will be awarded your certificate of Massage Foundations upon meeting attendance requirements and successful completion of written and practical assessments.

Massage Techniques ( A & B)
This course builds upon your Massage Foundation skills and is the next step toward your professional accreditation. You will learn to work with greater knowledge and confidence and learn to use a broad range of very effective treatments.

Pregnancy Massage
During pregnancy a woman’s body undergoes many changes, some of them stressful and uncomfortable. Massage is a perfect way to reduce stress and promote general well-being. This program has been developed to teach students massage techniques to use during pregnancy that can reduce peripheral swelling, help to prevent insomnia, reduce muscle cramps and back pain, and soothe the nervous system.
Reflexology Massage
The art of reflexology can be dated back to Ancient Egypt,IndiaandChina. It is based on principles that reflex and tension areas on the feet and hands are linked to other areas and organs of the body within the same zone. Reflexology is a complementary therapy, which works on the feet to help heal the whole person not just the prevailing symptoms.
Zen shiatsu Massage
Zen Shiatsu is a Japanese healing art that works on the body’s energy meridians. In a Zen Shiatsu treatment the vital channels or Meridians carr ying our ki (chi or prana or ‘life force’) are pressed with the fingers, palms, elbows, knees or feet to create balance and restore health in the body.
